What if everyone could come together for a single cause? How much positive change could come from that? That is the concept behind United Peoples Worldwide “RightsInitiative”. Users submit issues, that once approved, become polls. The community can vote and discuss on individual polls. UPW’s lobbyist group would follow popular polls. If a bill was purposed in congress, you could track its progress on the site. Unfortunately the site no longer not up, but hopefully my work will help with this company’s next project.
Other planned future initiatives
The heart of the site is the individual poll page. The commenting system is meant to educate and sway particular opinions. When you leave a comment, you indicate what type of comment your leaving - a supporting, opposing or undecided comment,indicated by a color. Lawmakers and legislators could also sign up for an account, giving them special commenting privileges.
